The National Bureau of Statistics recently released news that from January to February, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 7.5% year-on-year in real terms (the following growth rates of added value are the actual growth rates after deducting price factors). From a month-on-month perspective, in February, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 0.34% over the previous month.

From January to February, the added value of 38 of the 41 major industries maintained a year-on-year growth. From January to February, the manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 7.3%; from January to February, the added value of the textile industry above designated size increased by 4.9%. In terms of products, from January to February, the output of 338 of the 617 products increased year-on-year. From January to February, the cloth was 5.7 billion meters, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%. From January to February, chemical fibers reached 10.15 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.0%.
